Hospitality and tradition in the new farmhouse
The B&B in the new farmhouse is located right at the entrance of Park Montebello’s estate and has five bright rooms, a breakfast room, a kitchen and a private garden available to guests.
The farmhouse, which is located in a landscape protection area, has been completely renovated while maintaining the original characteristics and using recycled local materials, such as terracotta and stones collected by farmers while ploughing the fields. The materials used have been carefully selected to maximize energy saving, and a photovoltaic system has been installed that makes the building completely self-sufficient as regards electricity and heating.
Authentic nature for your relaxation
The Bed & Breakfast is immersed in the green hills of Emilia, home to Parmigiano Reggiano, between oak trees and maple, lavender, laurel and rosemary plants. The natural environment that surrounds the bed and breakfast reflects its past as a country house: from the end of the 1800s, it housed families that bred cattle, made cheese and grew wheat, fodder and Lambrusco grapes.
In the farmhouse, which has been owned by our family since 1968, in the summer there is a pleasant warm climate, as it is located in the area once called “Giunto delle Acque” (the joining waters), the area where the brook Bercemme flows into the stream Modolena, while throughout the year there are pleasant scents from the surrounding wooded areas.
The ideal place for a relaxing escape in the authentic environment of the Emilian hills.
